2007 Porsche Cayman – Treat Yourself to New Carpet While You Can

I replaced a large percentage of the carpet in my wife’s 2006 Cayman S last year, due to mouse damage. See that story here. At that time, most but not all of the pieces were available via my local dealership, although some waiting was required. That car has a natural brown interior. More recently, I have replaced just the large floor piece in my 2007 Cayman S, as it was looking very ragged. That car has a Sandbeige interior. The OEM carpet piece fit perfectly, with good color match. All the closed cell foam backings are as per original, as were the shapes of the molded parts and the cutouts. Knowing the situation with my 944s and 928s, where the only options are 3rd party products, I just wanted to encourage everyone to consider ordering some OEM carpets while you can. New carpets really dress up the interior.
